Rural Access Project

The Rural Access Project has been working in the West Lindsey District for the past year, we are now moving into the second phase of the project and will be working in East Lindsey.

The project aims to work with disabled people in East Lindsey in order to breakdown attitudinal and physical barriers to access in the area. Your ideas and support are integral to the success of the project and we would be very grateful to receive information and guidance as to what the priorities of the year should be. By working together with disabled people we are able to tackle issues related to access and the Disability Discrimination Act in East Lindsey, ideas can be small or big but each will move the district in the right direction to make services accessible to all.

There are volunteering opportunities for disabled people in the district: would you like to improve access in your area? Would you like to learn new skills and meet new people? We can provide opportunities in a variety of different areas related to the project, so get in touch!

We look forward to hearing from you.
